Beyond Therapy

When I’m not working, you’ll probably find me lost in a good book, out on a hiking trail, or taking a quiet walk in nature to clear my mind. I also love spending time with my dogs—they’re my little sidekicks and always know how to make me smile. Whether it’s soaking up fresh air, unwinding with a great story, or just hanging out with my pups, these are the things that keep me feeling balanced and happy.

Hi, I’m Rizza, and I’m here to support you on your journey toward healing, growth, and self-discovery. I truly believe that you are the expert of your own life, and my role is to walk alongside you as you navigate life’s challenges—whether that’s relationship struggles, anxiety, depression, grief, or big life transitions. You don’t have to go through it alone.

Before stepping into private practice, I worked with incarcerated individuals, including those transitioning back into the community after long-term incarceration, as well as court-mandated clients. Many of the people I’ve worked with have faced high-risk situations and extensive trauma histories, and I’ve witnessed firsthand the incredible strength and resilience that comes from having the right support and tools to move forward.

In therapy, I aim to create a space where you feel safe, seen, and heard—a space where you can show up just as you are without judgment. My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and client-centered because I know that healing isn’t one-size-fits-all. I blend mindfulness with evidence-based practices like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to help break unhelpful patterns and create lasting change.

I work with individuals, couples, and groups, and I tailor therapy to fit your unique needs and goals. No matter where you are in your journey, I’m here to support you. You are capable of growth, healing, and resilience, and I’d be honored to be a part of that process with you.
