I believe therapy is most effective when you feel genuinely seen, heard, valued, and understood. My goal is to create a space where you don’t have to perform, have everything figured out, or carry difficult experiences alone. Together, we’ll explore what’s bringing you to therapy, build on your strengths, and make sense of the patterns, relationships, and experiences that have shaped your life.
I recognize that mental health is influenced not only by our thoughts and emotions, but also by our relationships, families, communities, identities, and the systems we live within. Rather than asking, “What’s wrong with you?” I’m interested in understanding, “What happened to you?” and “What has helped you survive?” I believe that approaching ourselves with curiosity and compassion creates space for healing, growth, and lasting change.
Because every person is unique, I tailor therapy to your individual needs, goals, and lived experiences. Whether we’re exploring longstanding patterns or navigating a current challenge, my hope is to create a collaborative, affirming therapeutic relationship where you feel supported in moving toward a life that feels more authentic, connected, and meaningful.
Beyond my work as a therapist, I enjoy reading, writing, listening to podcasts, learning, dancing, traveling, and listening to music. You'll often find me walking in beautiful natural places, stopping to smell the flowers (truly!), or sharing laughter, good food, and meaningful conversations with close friends and family—both biological and chosen. I'm passionate about community, belonging, and discovering new perspectives that help me see the world in meaningful ways. I also love bringing people and ideas together, and I'm endlessly curious about what helps us build lives, relationships, and communities that feel more connected, compassionate, and fulfilling.
