Collaborative Care

We strive to inspire and support our clients on their pathway to healing and self-discovery.

Collaborative Care

Whole-Person Care, Working Together

At Monarchs Therapy, we believe the best care considers the whole person—not just individual symptoms. Because emotional and physical health are deeply connected, there are times when a collaborative approach can provide a more complete understanding of your overall well-being.

When clinically appropriate, your therapist may recommend collaborating with Dr. Maribel “Bella” Khoury, MD, an independent physician who shares our commitment to compassionate, integrative, whole-person care. If you choose to receive care from Dr. Bella and provide written authorization, your therapist and Dr. Bella may work together to coordinate treatment, share relevant clinical information, and develop recommendations that support your overall health and wellness.

Why Collaborative Care?

Every person’s health story is unique. Sometimes emotional, physical, and lifestyle factors are closely connected, and addressing them together can lead to a more complete understanding of your overall well-being.

When appropriate, collaborative care allows your therapist and physician to work together—with your written authorization—to ensure your treatment is thoughtful, coordinated, and personalized.

Collaborative care may be beneficial when addressing:

🦋 Anxiety, depression, and chronic stress

🦋 Trauma and nervous system regulation

🦋 Sleep, nutrition, and lifestyle factors that affect emotional health

🦋 Medical conditions that may influence mental well-being

🦋 Coordinated treatment planning across providers

Every recommendation is made based on your individual needs and remains within each provider’s professional scope of practice.
